How to Use This Tool
- Get your lab report
Your state-certified lab will send you a report (usually PDF or email) with a list of parameters, your measured values, and the applicable standards.
- Enter values into the fields above
Match the parameter names on your report to the fields above. Most parameters will use mg/L (milligrams per liter) as their unit. If your report shows “ND” or “Not Detected,” enter 0 or leave the field blank.
- Click Interpret
The tool will compare each value against EPA standards and show you which parameters pass, which fail, and what to do about any failures.
- Review loan standards
If you’re in a real estate transaction, the FHA/VA/USDA badge will show whether your results meet federal loan standards.
